Who We Are

Mission Statement:
“We exist to make joyful, God glorifying disciples who live in Gospel-centered community and who live missionally among the peoples of the world.”

GOSPEL – Cornerstone Church loves the gospel and believes that the gospel changes lives. We also believe that the gospel is necessary for daily living. We must be reminded each day that we are great sinners and Christ is a great Savior. At Cornerstone Church we will strive to stay cross-centered in all we do. “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes…” (Romans 1:16)

COMMUNITY – At Cornerstone Church we believe that the Christian life cannnot be lived in isolation from other Christians. We believe that Christians should meet regularly for the purpose of accountability, prayer, encouragement, and to fight against sin. (Acts 2:42-47) For this very reason we have created Community Life Groups so that you can build relationships with others and do life together in Christ.

MISSION – Cornerstone Church believes in missions and looks to Jesus as the greatest missionary ever to live. We believe that we have a responsibility to obey the command of Jesus when he told his disciples to “go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.” (Matthew 28:19-20) As disciples of Christ we believe that all Christians have been commissioned to go and make disciples of all nations. Cornerstone Church will be strategically involved in missions in our local context, in a regional context, and then throughout the world.
